As far as I know Frigidaire expects you to put the scoop in the ice basket but then your scoop is in your ice basket taking up precious space and it's probably going to be wet when you take it out. This will let you stick it wherever, saving precious space for your water rocks. It has speed holes on the bottom to keep the inside drier and tabs for attaching double sided tape.
