Notes: Photographs of building facades taken from street level are affected by both Lens Distortion and Perspective Distortion. Linear panoramas involve the removal of the former but retention of the latter. I stopped trying to produce a linear panorama of this subject because its facade includes at least four depths relative to the capture trajectory (three-bay, five-bay, portico colonnade, portico back wall). Trying to reconcile all these through non-uniform scaling in GIMP was beyond my abilities and overall inefficient. External links:
