Eurasian red squirrel, Sciurus vulgaris Linnaeus, 1758, is identified by its common name. A key characteristic of this species is the presence of a mandible. MZB 98-1032 is the specimen number for an individual sample from the Eurasian red squirrel population. The size of the mandible measures 17.3 millimeters in height, 24.7 millimeters in width, and 34.7 millimeters in depth. This particular specimen is a female adult. Gaià, Bages, Barcelona, Spain was the location where the sample was collected on June 22, 1998.
