Scissors Jack Handle - Router Lift for Router Table
prusaprinters
I needed a router lift for my router table, so I purchased a scissors jack. However, to move it up and down there really wasn't a convenient way to do that, so I created a simple scissors jack handle to easily crank my router up and down as a cheap router lift on my router table. Here's how I printed mine:PLA50% infill.Supports enabledBambu Labs X1 Carbon.I did strengthen the areas with holes and the entire section that connects to the jack by using a modifier that utilizes 100% infill. I have not experience any stength issues and I've been using it for months now. Fits the “Jack Boss Car Scissor Jack 1.5 Ton 3,300 lbs” - part #AS10152https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B092CNFSGS/ If you tighten the bolt that holds it onto the jack, it does reduce the amount of sway it has, but it doesn't eliminate it. I do not remember the bolt size I used. *** I have not used it to crank up the jack when trying to lift anything remotely heavy. Please use it at your own risk. I do not assume any liability. You are responsible for your own safety. ***
