I've put a few thousand miles on my MaXpeedingRod coilovers and they've held up great except for the rubber bushings on the rear. It may be in part to using my TB Performance rear strut bar. Either way, they were too soft and needed replacing. I designed these new bushings to work with the MaXpeedingRod hardware while having the larger footprint similar to OEM. Printing Notes -------------- • You can use softer TPU for these bushings. I went with 95A since that's what I already had on hand. • Be sure to print at 100% infill. This took about 9 hours to print all four at once for me. Installation Notes ------------------ • Jack the rear end of your car up. You may not need to remove your wheels depending on how low you have your coilovers set, but be sure to use jack stands either way. • Remove the retaining nut, upper washer, and upper bushing. Reach your hand into the wheel well and pull down the piston (grab the lower washer) and remove the lower bushing. Leave the lower washer in place. Install the new flat faced bushing with the larger side facing up, then extend the piston back into the mounting hole. • Install the upper bushing on top. Center the piston so that the new bushing can sit flush in the opening. Reinstall the upper washer and nut and tighten to 18 ft/lbs. • Lower your car and go for a test drive to make sure there are no issues.
