I upgraded this fantastic model by scaling it up to suit my adult needs and breaking it down into three manageable parts for smoother printing. To make the back piece detachable, I drilled in some strong magnets, but securely attached the front piece to the body using a robust epoxy bond. Additionally, I added a convenient rocker switch that seamlessly integrates with some bright LEDs mounted directly onto the front face. To create the lenses, I opted for 1/8" clear acrylic sheets and cleverly mirror-tinted the front lens.
