Science Fair Trophy

Science Fair Trophy

thingiverse

I crafted this simple trophy for my wife's sixth-grade science fair project, combining engineering and artistry. The design comprises two gears, a backing plate, and a base. Next, I plan to use a Cricut machine to create a custom stencil from Mylar, then airbrush text onto the angled part of the base. The gears were printed at 20% infill with a raft to guarantee a flawless first layer. In contrast, the backing was printed at 50% infill to reinforce the posts and provide added stability. Meanwhile, the base was printed at 20% infill. Notably, all parts were created without relying on supports. Feel free to modify or personalize this trophy's design by incorporating your own text. If you're interested in accessing the Fusion360 files, just let me know and I'll do my best to share them with you.
