Sci Fi Turret - AA - AT
thingiverse
I've added a two-part body that helps with curling caused by the narrow base of the single piece. For me, the gun prints best with a small brim but the stand seems okay as long as bed adhesion is good. Because the body of the gun is vertical, I got much better results when printing slower. Depending on what scale game you're playing, this can be many different things. It can be AA, AT, heavy mg, light mg, etc. In the 15mm-28mm scales this is taller than the characters so it makes a nice air or vehicle defense weapon. In the second picture you see this model next to my Sfi Fi Slug Thrower https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2483959 and a 15mm and 28mm character from dutchmogul. The gun itself is about 60mm from the tip of the barrel to the rear of the receiver. I had to do some cleanup to get all the pieces to snap together. The stand was fine as well as the barrels, but the rear end cap needed to be trimmed a little and the brim around the top optical sight had to be trimmed a little. Make sure the ball joints for the stand legs are clean. This will help them insert easier and move more freely. The stand is separate because you might want to use it for something else. If you use it in your own model, please let me know. I'd love to see how you use it. As always, anything original that I publish here can be used as you see fit - even selling them. It's my way of giving back to the community that's given so much to me. However, if you end up making money using it, consider tipping me and contributing to my filament bill.
