Sci-fi Turret 3D model

I drew inspiration from George Hull's sci-fi turret, but decided to put my own twist on the concept. Without relying on high-poly modeling, I added intricate details like nuts and screws using Blender's powerful Decal Machine add-on. To create precise UV mapping, I opted for Maya, taking advantage of its top-notch UV editor. I also had plans to incorporate a bevel shader to achieve beveled edges that would seamlessly transfer onto a normal map after baking – and thankfully, Blender's shader capabilities made quick work of it. Once I had my model in place, I used Substance Painter to apply a textured finish, followed by final rendering on preview with Blender's renowned Cycles engine.
