Sci-fi Rifle - LiB.V2

I'm still getting the hang of modelling and figuring out how to scale and position my models properly. At 100% scale, this model is almost as big as a real rifle - I'm pretty sure that's not what I intended! I printed mine at 50% scale instead. You'll need to carefully place the pieces on their flat sides. It took me around 17-19 hours to print all six pieces at 50% scale, with supports and 15% infill. The model comes in two optional parts - I created two small pegs that fit inside the gun to help line up the pieces for gluing. I printed the barrel with the hole facing down towards the build plate. I also printed the fore grip upside-down and the gun core with the scope facing downwards (or maybe it would work better the other way around!). This print looked tricky on screen, so I ended up using a lot of tree supports to get it right. To support the most vulnerable parts - like the trigger, grip, scope and hose - I used 75-degree supports at an angle. Removing them afterwards was a time-consuming task! You might be able to experiment with fewer supports and get away with it. Either way, I hope you enjoy this print and find it works smoothly for those who give it a try!
