A unique lamp shade awaits all tech enthusiasts, geeks, and Star Wars fans! For those who love 3D printing too! All test printing was done using the following system: MacBook Pro, 16GB RAM, Intel Core i7 2.9Ghz, Simplify3D. Carefully read these tips: If your build volume is below 30cm on the z axis, you'll have to print the split version. My personal print settings are as follows: Layer height of 0.16mm (0.2mm is fine too and much quicker) 5% infill 10 bottom layers 10 top layers 2 outlines 35 - 40mm/s print speed Z-Offset: -1mm (for a flat surface) Printing time will take several days, depending on your machine and settings. Printing it hollow drastically cuts printing time. Recommended material: PLA, black matte. Supports: Use supports for the top hole if you need to. If adhesion is great, try printing with the small hole facing down like I did. Some structures will sag but that's not a problem since this whole print looks grungy. I didn't use any supports at all. For lighting, I used the Philips Hue system. The cord is this one: https://amzn.to/2E4zAbN (Affiliate Link from Germany). Just get E27 for the fitting or try what you need in your country.
