Normal maps were created from high poly 3D model data in Substance Painter, utilizing the MikkT tangent space setting for optimal rendering. The model is fully rigged with basic settings in place, ensuring smooth animation and deformation. Key features of this industrial crate include: The following 3D file types are included: * Max 2014 (.max) file, featuring a rigged version of the model * Maya 2015 (.ma) file, also featuring a rigged model * FBX 2014 files, available in two formats: one with quad geometry and another with triangle geometry, both rigged for ease of use * OBJ 2014 file (.obj), without rigging All texture files are stored within the accompanying zip folder. Upon opening this folder, users can select their preferred 3D format from Marmoset Toolbag software. Texture paths will automatically link to corresponding images. A range of PBR textures is included, compatible with popular game engines Unity, CryEngine, and Unreal Engine 4 (UE4). These textures cater to both metalness and specular workflows: * Ambient Occlusion maps: 4096x4096 pixels * Normal Map: 4096x4096 pixels, using -y flip convention suitable for DirectX rendering; a note on image editors highlights the green channel to correct flipped appearance. * Diffuse map: 4096x4096 pixels * Gloss Map: 4096x4096 pixels * Specular Map: 4096x4096 pixels * Base Color map: 4096x4096 pixels * Roughness Map: 4096x4096 pixels, potentially too shiny in UE4; double-click and disable the sRGB box for linear settings or combine maps using Photoshop. * Metalness Map: 4096x4096 pixels, similar correction requirements as roughness * UV Map: flat, with minor overlap on select pieces Key source textures, derived from high poly bakes, are provided in the following formats: * Ambient Occlusion maps * Curvature maps * ID Maps * MeshNormals * Position data * Thickness maps * World_Space_Normal data
