Here's a sci-fi box for you: 7k faces in it. It's got five thousand face weapons loaded up, but they're not perfect and have a lot of faces - ideal for presentation though. They were even used on older works when I started out. You can use this model non-commercially for free. I'll be happy to help load your own weapon - all you need to do is send me back that texture, or ask for the base material.
