The soft glow of holographic displays flickers across their surfaces, casting an ethereal light on the faces of the city's inhabitants. People of all shapes and sizes hurry through the crowds, their faces set with determination as they go about their duties. Some wear sleek, high-tech suits that seem to defy gravity, while others are dressed in more functional attire, their tools and equipment at the ready. I make my way towards the central console, where a lone figure stands poised, eyes fixed intently on a holographic display that hovers before them.
