Schürzen Brackets for StuG III/IV and Pz IV
cults3d
Schürzen brackets for Sturmgeschütz III/IV and Panzer IV tanks that allow schürzen to be placed at different angles/widths for use with winterketten and ostketten tracks. Brackets are at 1/35 scale. I have included individual STLs and STLs already supported and on rafts with labels. The brackets marked as '_V2' have the corners less rounded. These brackets with sharper corners were less common than the ones with more rounded corners. I added bolt heads and nuts+washers individually and supported on a raft with 32 of each. These can be used on the double schürzen configurations used on Sturmgeschütz IIIs, and can replace the overscale nuts & bolts included in some kits. Due to the tiny size, I did not bother with the small details such as the chamfers at the tops of the bolt heads where two edges meet. NOTE: I was informed the large lower bracket for the front schurzen plate is not long enough, so I have modified it to increase the length to 5.85mm. The modified normal bracket .STL has a V3 designation added to the file name, and the version with sharper corners has a V2a designation in the file names. Large lower brackets with V4 designation are longer still at 6.45mm. Individual .STLs and rafts of the modified .STLs have been uploaded, including rafts of 10 of the V3 & V4 large lower brackets. Lower_Main_Brackets_V4 are 5.25mm vs. the originals at 4.90mm.
