Thomas's video about IGIS-Lager has inspired me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGBipbgwgME The IGUS RJ4JP-01-08 bearings run very quietly. In normal circumstances, the bearings stick at even slight misalignments. This is because the bearings on both sides of the X-axis are installed with a specific distance between them. The Y-axis guides also have a specific distance between them. The distances never match exactly and result in an over-constrained static system. It's solved when you swing the right bearing loosely. The LagerhalterX compensates for these misalignments by means of a parallelogram suspension. This swinging bearing is intended for the heat bed and extruder. I recommend PETG as printing material, since it is more elastic.
