sketchfab
Well preserved sword was discovered by voluntary antiquarian custodians at a depth of 17 meters in the Lake Schwedt. The sword with a rivet head of type Lühesand dates back to the 5th century AD. Comparable finds come from Lühesand, Lower Saxony and Kragehul Mose in Denmark. The sword may have been sacrificed into the lake.
