<p><strong>Use-case and motivation for this part</strong></p><p>Yes, I admit that this may be the most senseless 3D printable part from an economical point view. But I love to reverse engineer unknown threads. So I could not resist to come up with this design for the Schweppes soda bottle.</p><p>In fact there is a serious background to this design. The idea is to add a nozzle to the cap, to get a nice pourer for this bottle. If I succeed to come up with a well working design, I will use it to fill up the windscreen washer tank of my car.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>If you don't have a Schweppes bottle</strong></p><p>This design was also successfully tested on Gerolsteiner 0.5l water bottles. Even more importantly, there are some really cute little bottles here on Printables that fit perfectly to this cap: <a href="https://www.printables.com/model/227514-tiny-bottles-with-pet-bottle-cap-size">https://www.printables.com/model/227514-tiny-bottles-with-pet-bottle-cap-size</a></p><p><strong>Printing instructions</strong></p><p>This part is very easy to print. No supports or brim is needed. Simply print this part with 100% infill in the uploaded orientation.&nbsp;</p><p>I have printed the silver grey part in the pictures on a Prusa i3 Mk3S from PETG (supplier DasFilament.de). But I am fairly sure most other printers will be able to do the job as well. The thread angle is 90°, which means your printer needs to be able to print 45° overhangs. Basically all printers that I know can do that. To use PLA should also work.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Have fun with this part and feel free to remix it if you have other cool ideas for soda bottles.</p><p>Happy Printing!</p>
