Schwarzenbach - Haus der 'Neuen Kelten'

The outdoor area at Burgberg in Schwarzenbach is comprised of seven buildings and numerous reconstructed objects such as garden and fence arrangements. These allow the visitor to experience Celtic daily life firsthand. So far, a craftsman's house built with post-and-beam construction featuring oak walls, a storage building with block walls on fir beams, a potter's hut on posts, and a large dwelling in post-and-beam construction with spruce walls have been erected. The interior fittings of the houses with food and cooking containers, additional household items, and tools from the late Iron Age aim to vividly illustrate everyday life during that time period.
