The Schwarz D surface, also known as the Diamond, is a minimal surface developed by Hermann Amandus Schwarz in 1890. This surface has the property of being the unique minimal surface with four distinct planar boundaries that are pairwise parallel and non-intersecting. The boundary curves have equal length, and they form two pairs of congruent curves.
