Schumacher LD2 30mm Fan Mount

I needed a fan mount for my Cougar LD2 and didn't want to tape a fan in. It was a snug fit for the 30mm Rocket aluminum fan and I needed to open up the fan mounting holes to line up with the fan, but this will probably vary depending on what fan you use. I used M3x5 brass injection inserts to fasten it to the chassis (uses factory chassis holes to mount), but you could also use a screw and washer with a nut if you don't have inserts. I would also recommend placing a piece of tape under the mount towards the middle as it can resonate on the chassis if the fan isn't balanced well. I also cut down the wire comb that came with the kit and stuck it to the top of the fan to reduce any wire chafing on the fan housing. I have not had any issues with the magnetic field from the motor stopping the fan.
