Schrodinky!: dual extrusion version
pinshape
I created a dual extrusion version of my kitty sculpture, celebrating the addition of a BCN3D Sigma R17 to my household. Files are organized in two configurations: loubie_cat_body_and_pupils_v13.stl and loubie_cat_eyes_and_box_v13.stl. These files work well together for dual extrusion printing. A photo illustrates this model, serving as an example of what can be achieved with dual extrusion. For users who have machines capable of printing with multiple materials, I have separated the files to allow you to experiment with different options. The alternative configurations include loubie_cat_body.stl, loubie_cat_eyes.stl, loubie_cat_box.stl, and loubie_cat_pupils.stl. I look forward to seeing a variety of colorful prints! Print Settings: Printer Brand: BCN3D Printer: BCN3D SIGMA Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 Infill: 10% Notes: I printed the sculpture at a scale of 16cm high, as I recently installed 0.8 nozzles on my Sigma and was hesitant to use a layer height of 0.2mm. Instead, I opted for a 0.3 resolution to balance detail with print quality.
