Schrodinky cat Bobble head

This project is a remix of the beautifully crafted Schrodinky cat by Loubie https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2690075. It was inspired by the Fox bobblehead design by Physics_Dude https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:166986 , mainly because I couldn't find a cat bobblehead. It's a little rough around the edges but any beginning hobbyist shouldn't have a problem with it. Make sure to print this in PETG or another heat resistant material as the sun would otherwise melt it in a hot car during summer. Recommend to print in 0.12, lower resolution will result in a better finished product with less sanding needed. I'd also recommend printing the head with more walls and infill as it's weight will affect the bobble motion. You could always glue in some weights afterwards if you find the motion is lacking. I detached the box, you can modify the size as you like. I blasted it with a heat gun to give it a more organic look. If you don't have a heat gun you can partly submerge it in boiling water for a few seconds and bend it that way instead. Use a soft spring between 7 and 12 mm, preferably a bigger diameter. Use the pin to glue the spring in place on the body. Fill the inside of the head cone with glue and jam the spring in there. Add more glue if needed. At this point with the glue still wet you can tweak the angle. I also recommend using a piece of rubber or fe. an inner tube of a bicycle tire, as a makeshift collar to reduce noise when on the road and also hide the attachment of the spring. The cat collar tag I used can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4680626 If you printed and enjoyed it, I'd love to see the result!
