"Schrodinky: The British Shorthair in a Box 3D Printable Multi Part Model" is a larger scale model, designed for more detailed and complex printing. It's a significant upgrade from my original "cat in a box" models: STL file for dual extrusion version STL file for single extrusion version (FYI: Both these models are free to download.) KITTY OWNERS/FUTURE BUYERS! IMPORTANT NOTICE! If you've purchased the multi-extrusion kitty and want the single-extrusion version, please PM me. I'll send it to you for free. I had hoped to make merging dual models easier with a slicer, but that's not the case, so I'm providing single files instead. I need proof of purchase before sending the files. Since cats have often sat in boxes without caring if they fit or not, this popular subject has proven itself time and again for modeling. This larger version is also a functioning money bank, with a coin slot at the back of the collar and a threaded hole at the cat body base, plus a threaded stopper included. "There's money in the kitty" - a joke that will never get old. Ever. Important information: Please take the time to read this section as it contains essential details about component size and printer requirements. Schrodinky is a multi-part model requiring assembly after printing. I've made two versions: one for multi-color capable 3D printers (also known as dual or multi-extrusion) and one for single-material printers (single extrusion, the most common type). However, due to artistic and practical sectioning, you can still achieve a multi-color effect even with a single-color printer. The other advantage of a multipart model is that it's less restricted by your printer build area. Fully assembled, Schrodinky sitting in the box measures about 26cm, which would be too large for many people if it were a one-piece model. However, as you print in parts, the largest dimension components are: 1) The box: (length 165mm, width 156mm, height 60mm) 2) The cat body: (length 109mm, width 138mm, height 160mm) If your printer can accommodate these dimensions, you're good to go. You can also scale down, as the awesome Hawk 3D Proto has tested this for me at 50% - a kitten. I've designed this model to function as a money bank and look pleasing without the box part, so if your printer can't manage the box or you prefer a kitty sitting alone, I've considered that too. This is a pay-for model with two packages available: 1) Single extrusion package (contains files for most FDM printers) 2) Multi extrusion package (contains files for dual/multi-extrusion capable FDM printers) THIS MODEL PAGE IS FOR THE MULTI EXTRUSION PACKAGE ONLY This includes: Bicolour cat model (head and body) Wizard variant cat model (head and body) Eye models (eye and pupil can be printed as a multi-extrusion model) 3 collars with the choice to print the collar, patterns, and stitching in different colors 3 medal designs (“paw print”, crescent moon, and stars, and heart) but multi-extrusion variants Box model as a multi-extrusion model with tape featuring the paw print design Stopper, threads, and threaded body If you require the SINGLE EXTRUSION PACKAGE, please go here: STL files in Single Extrusion Package
