The painting features Vroman's Nose, located in Middleburg, NY, as its focal point. It was created using Maperitive, a free program that acquires elevation data from the Open Street Map Project. After importing the models into SketchUp, post-processing was done in Meshlab and Netfabb. ABS printing followed, with final touches added by my friend Alex through painting.
