Schoen's F-RD surface
grabcad
The Schoen surface, a triply-periodic minimal surface, was discovered by Alan H. Schoen and can be visualized in Blender with Cycles rendering. Its equation is cos(x)cos(y)cos(z)-0.1cos(2x)cos(2y)cos(2z)+0.1(cos(2x)cos(2y)+cos(2y)cos(2z)+cos(2z)cos(2x))=±0.1; and more information can be found at schoengeometry.com/e-tpms.html, facstaff.susqu.edu/brakke/evolver/examples/periodic/periodic.html, and msriorg/publications/sgp/jim/papers/morphbysymmetry/text/final.html.
