Scho-Ka-Kola Tin Can Divider
thingiverse
Here I'm sharing a simple divider for the German Scho-Ka-Kola tin cans. I was always using these tin cans for screws so I wouldn't accidentally knock them over when lifting my arm. Lately, I started thinking about any kind of divider system for those tin cans until I came up with this design. It's not perfect - if you drop the can and the lid is closed, your screws will still get mixed up. I'm still trying to improve it so that the model reaches into the lid or I might design a rotating plate to fit on top that can be glued into the lid. This divider is meant to keep your screws organized in one spot on your desk where you're least likely to knock them off by accident. I also plan to create more divider setups, such as 4 plus 1 or even 8 plus 1 if there's enough space. I might even design a stacking system so you could have two stages inside the tin can. You can never have too much space for screws when you're repairing something. Stay tuned for any updates I post!
