This innovative pill box was designed to fit neatly into a Scho-ka-kola tin, but it can be used independently of this container. Initially, friction was relied upon to prevent the lid from moving unnecessarily, yet the design was subsequently modified to employ a spring-loaded detent that secures the lid in place when closed. The spring utilized for this mechanism came from a large hardware store's assortment and fits snugly inside the wedge-shaped cavity with a flat bottom. To access the box's contents, simply depress the wedge-shaped lock and turn the lid to the desired position.
