OVERVIEW S38-B E-boats are German fast attack craft (Schnellboot in German) built for the Kriegsmarine during World War Two. These vessels were designated by many naval experts as among the best of their class. Initially, these units were called Unterseebot Zerstorer (Hunting Submarine) and Anti-Submarine Motorboats or Armored Motorboats because they had a vital anti-submarine mission. Later, the Kaiserliche Marine adopted the designation Luftschiffmotorenboot (boat with an airship engine) or L-Boote and then from November 1917, these units became LM-Boote, serving the same purpose but not succeeding well in their use, especially in the Baltic Sea and the North Sea. 3D MODEL GENERAL INFO This model was created based on blueprints, photographs, and historical documentation. It was carefully crafted with precision and accuracy to become a faithful digital representation of the original in real units of measurement. The model was built using Lightwave.
