The Type 143 Albatros class was a formidable fleet of German missile-bearing fast attack craft, each bearing the name of a powerful bird of prey like the majestic albatross, the soaring condor, and the sleek cormorant. Built by renowned German shipbuilders Lürssen and Kröger, these vessels were designed to supplant the Type 141 Seeadler class. Ultimately, the German Navy decommissioned the class in 2005, selling the ships off to Tunisia and Ghana.
