Schnauzer

In November 2019, I suffered the devastating loss of my closest friend who had been by my side for 15 incredible years. To honor her memory and keep her legacy alive, I took on a bold project: crafting a stunning sculpture that would serve as a lasting tribute to our unbreakable bond. I must confess that I'm not a skilled sculptor, but I was determined to bring this beautiful piece to life despite my limited abilities. The challenge of capturing the essence of her lovable face proved to be a formidable task, one that pushed me to my creative limits. Nevertheless, I persevered and poured all my heart into this sculpture. To bring my vision to fruition, I leveraged the power of Blender, a cutting-edge 3D modeling software that allowed me to create intricate designs with precision. Next, I turned to 3D printing technology to breathe life into my digital creation. The resulting print was then transformed into a durable mold using Mold Max 60, a specialized material designed specifically for this purpose. Finally, I cast the sculpture in pewter, a versatile metal alloy that lent an air of sophistication and elegance to the finished piece. As I reflect on this process, I'm reminded of the incredible journey that led me here – from concept to creation. And as I look ahead, I'm excited to share my knowledge with others who may be interested in learning how to create their own metallic versions of 3D prints.
