Schnaps Seilbahn / Cable Car delivering Shots
thingiverse
UPDATE a new version is now available online at: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1748449 A cable car delivering shots from the bar area onto the stage for the musicians was developed for a 20th anniversary celebration of a band. The system could be turned on and off from both the stage and bar. Instructions I used M8 threaded rods with nut fittings and M5 screws to hold the roll batteries in place. The cable car uses a common laundry line, rubber-coated with steel wire having a 3.5mm diameter. The wheel assemblies at the bar and stage stations are actually old bike wheels repurposed from a baby stroller, modified to accept M6 screws. To keep the shot glasses secure during transport, simple 3x7mm self-tapping screws hold together plastic brackets originally made for PCs with printed steel rings attached around them. Working on this project was my first experience using FreeCAD to design a three-dimensional product; it turned out complicated but functional nonetheless!
