The stereographic Schmidt Projection is a map type designed by the mathematician Eugeniusz Romuald Schmidt of Warsaw Poland around 1925-6 or so, that can produce maps to accurately represent large sections of our world without greatly distorting shape. This kind of map has a point where no three points can have equal distances to it - and from which the three rays originate for their intersections with our sphere, that lies equidistant from two or more other intersecting surfaces - this means these shapes never quite align but in doing so manage a balanced balance on each one when combined with appropriate adjustments so long as none intersect in actuality.
