Schleppkette Anycubic i3 Mega Y-Achse
thingiverse
I just received my tenth Anycubic i3 Mega and decided to go with the tried-and-true pulley belt for the heat bed again. To do this, I used a 7x7mm pulley belt with R15mm. https://www.ebay.de/itm/7x7mm-R15-1M-Nylon-Energy-Chain-Pulley-Belt-3D-Printer-CNC/382819041901?hash=item5921cb026d:m:mxVWJ9RIjZuTtJ5KFhYOjqA The cables are highly flexible silicone cables. They can be found on eBay (strand 392 * 0.07) or in any hobby store. I used these: https://www.ebay.de/itm/4m-1-5mm-Silicone-Cable-Silicone-Wire-Highly-Flexible-Set-2m-Red-AND-2m-Black/323072817525?hash=item4b38a3f975:g:FfoAAOxyNo9StJDS. I was only looking for the ends of the 7x7mm cable chain, as you only need 25cm of chain and they sell one-meter chains with one end. So I had plenty of chain but no ends. That's why I designed these ends myself and can now print them myself. And it works great. I just upgraded a new i3 Mega. With the original cable, there was the effect that the heat bed did not stay in the rear position when the motors were turned off, but rather bounced back on its own. With my chain solution, this is no longer the case and the table can be pushed more easily. For the power supply of the heat bed, I use highly flexible silicone cable 1.5mm2 from the hobby store. The thin wire is also highly flexible cable 0.25mm2 from the hobby store. The chain holder is attached to the Y-slide with two M3x8 socket screws and the chain is attached to the housing with two M3x8 socket screws. (I removed all non-American English characters and made some minor adjustments for better readability.)
