Schlage Lock

Schlage Lock

thingiverse

This Is my reverse engineering project for a CAD course, where I reverse-engineered a lock for the class. You'll find a PDF copy of the print with a Bill Of Materials so you can see how many parts are needed to assemble the model. I omitted the pins from the 3D models, as I didn't print them out, but included the Solidworks files instead. To ensure accuracy, I measured the pins and key dimensions using a rekeying kit and then modeled them in my CAD software. The lock remains fully functional as a moving model even without the working pins – it simply stays unlocked at all times. If you have any questions about the project, feel free to ask; I'm happy to help.
