**Update 2018-03-16** Clearly, the PLA version of this breaks after a couple of crashes. I've been experimenting and attempted to create this out of TPU (because why not?) and added a little lip to the ducts. It's now nearly indestructible! I also added a tiny x-brace to give stiffness to the TPU version and a little camera clamp that holds it in place, shaving more weight in more places. This now weighs about 0.25 grams less than the original version even with the added cross-brace and camera brace. **V2 features** - Designed to be printed in ABS/TPU/Nylon (frame only) - Adds lip to the ducts for ~15% more thrust - Adds a brace so the camera doesn't fall out. Force it into the holes besides the camera - Adds an x-bar to keep the motors from flexing - Reduced the size of the battery chute and made it a bit tighter, seems to work just as well - Tightened the motor mount holes by 0.1mm to make it grip your motors a bit more **Instructions** - Print the frame in ABS/TPU/Nylon - Print the x-bars, camera mount and battery chute in PLA or ABS - X-bar not needed when printed in ABS or Nylon ------------ My very first original Kingkong Tiny6 replacement frame. **Features:** - No canopy needed, lowrider. - Compartment that holds the receiver behind the camera - Top OR Bottom mounted battery customized battery chute *If you have a better way to mount the battery yourself, you don't need the battery chute.* **For top mounted battery chute:** Melt or glue it onto the pins after mounting it on top of the FC. **For bottom mounted battery chute** - When assembling, first feed the camera and the RX through the center ring - Add the battery chute and lock it over the pins. (angled side towards the front) - Add the flight controller upside down (connectors facing up) on top of that, it clamps down automatically using the softmounts - Connect motor wires (left one right, right one left) and set 180 degrees board rotation in Betaflight I printed and weighed it in PLA and that works. ABS or Nylon is probably stronger and somewhat lighter. Created with Tinkercad, check out my latest version here: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/0rnCYyIdh0D
