In 1715, the Swedes sank the wreck of Ship 64 at the entrance to the Greifswalder Bodden in a strategic move to block the Danish Navy's entry into the vital waterway. Completely excavated and documented in 2017, this mid-sized wooden vessel with a mast is believed to have been built around the end of the 17th century at Stettiner Haff as a wood transporter.
