One of my small 10 litre gas cans has 12 bumps on the cap so I reworked this model: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3201327 to accommodate them. I imported the .STL into TinkerCAD, reworked the opening, and exported it. My modified wrench works great on both the 12 bump and 6 bump screw on caps. Mind you mine is just a touch tight which still works fine. You might want to scale yours up by a percentage or two if your wrench is tight for you.
