When we got our hands on these items, you immediately noticed their weight and exceptional metal finish. Replicating this level of intricacy was our primary challenge. We carefully sliced each item into multiple pieces, then 3D printed them using a Makerbot Replicator 2. After that, we glued the pieces together, sanded down any rough edges, and applied a layer of self-leveling epoxy to smooth out the entire surface. Once the epoxy had dried completely, we finished by applying a metallic paint that perfectly matched their original finish. Watch as our replicas come to life in this exciting reveal.
