Scentsy Blow-Matron 3000
thingiverse
I was given a Scentsy demo kit by a family member, but I was shocked to find that the company was selling a glorified fan with a USB connection for $46. It didn't take me long to design an alternative enclosure and circuit that does the same job without using a Li-ion cell or charging. This DIY solution works just as well as the original and costs significantly less, around $4 CAD in parts. Assembly pictures are included below. Grocery List: * USB Breakout Board (a small adapter board with a 2.54mm female connector) * 5V to 12V Boost Circuit (a power supply that converts 5V to 12V) * A simple switch * A 40mm computer fan powered by 12V DC
