SCellyCus Adapter (Cellphone-Microscope Adapter)

thingiverse

The SCellyCus Adapter is now available on Thingiverse! Ever tried capturing microscopy (telescopy?) images or videos by “manually aligning” your cellphone camera with the eyepiece? Yah, it sucks. Commercially available cellphone-microscope adapters failed to delivered on ease of use and image quality. With that in mind, I set out to design an adapter that easily mounts on the microscope and allows for fine adjustments (lateral, vertical and forward/backward). This design was inspired by OpenOcular. Are you also looking to automate cell counting? This adapter is part of the SCellyCus project, an iOS App for cell counting.
