SCCY CPX-2 RedDot Adapter
thingiverse
As I get older, I find it is getting harder to use iron sights. I have this little SCCY CPX-2 that I really like to conceal carry but to remain responsible and safe I needed to update to a red dot sight. If you look into getting a newer slide, the cost is what I paid for the gun new! This is a 2 part mount that will slide into the tiny slot provided for the rear sight. Being that it is the only place to attach to without milling the slide, I have designed it in such a way that the slicer will be forced to reinforce the cleat regardless of your fill settings (tiny fluting). Still, I recommend you use a carbon fiber-infused filament. Also, be sure to print it top-side down just as the file is made. There is no need for supports as any printer tuned up enough to print these parts will no doubt be able to do minor bridging where needed. I used purple PLA to test fit in the pictures while I reordered a fresh roll of carbon. The top is flat and contoured edges to match the red dot footprint while the bottom is curved and beveled to match the slide contours. It was silly and pointless to make a mirrored part and load a separate file for the other side as every slicer worth using has a mirror option. Fewer files to download and deal with, you are welcome. You will need: (2) M2 x 20mm bolts (2) M2 Nuts (1) Adjustable LED RMR (1) CPX-2 (1) Printed part (1) Printed mirrored part
