To create Halloween/Jack-o-Lantern eggs, start with a room temperature egg or an ovoid object. Load it into the Egg-bot and adjust as needed. Do the same for your pen. Prime the pen, then open Inkscape's Egg-bot control panel. Adjust settings on the Plot tab and apply to begin printing your design. Note that Inkscape versions differ in DPI definition, so adjust accordingly (0.91 defines 1" as 90 DPI while 0.92 is 96 DPI).
