You're taking a close look at a detailed replica of the Scarab SRV from Elite Dangerous. This model has been expertly reworked from in-game assets and broken down into 86 easily printable parts, allowing you to print and assemble a highly realistic version in custom colors. The model kit comes with 88 parts total, including two additional pieces for the optional stand that's themed after the game. Most of the model can be assembled without glue, using push-fit joints, and even the tires can be designed to rotate, giving your Scarab SRV the look of a real vehicle. Some parts have been completely re-designed from scratch, and the turret is an original creation based on the in-game design. The files you'll receive include multiple versions of several parts, including ones with zero tolerance for precise assembly and another version marked "tolerance" that's designed to make it easier to put the model together. You can even use these files to create your own custom designs and attachments for other Elite Dangerous models. One notable feature is the stand that comes with this kit. Not only can you use it to display your Scarab SRV, but you can also repurpose it for other models in the series. I've designed the stand so that it can be easily attached to or detached from the model, and I've included two versions of the stand: one with a pointed end that sticks into the model, and another without. When fully assembled (without the stand), this replica measures approximately 21cm long, 16cm wide, and 14cm high.
