Scarab from the British Museum

thingiverse

Here is a scan taken by the British Museum. I have included the original plus an STL with most of the (not very interesting) base trimmed off. The original work is Egyptian, perhaps dating back to the Ptolemaic period (332-30 BCE), transported to Istanbul likely during the later Roman empire. It measures one and a half meters in length, crafted from green diorite, and probably stood proudly within a temple's sacred walls. My Role in This Design The design is not mine; it was downloaded directly from the British Museum's Sketchfab page, carefully adhering to its CC-by-nc license.
