<p>This is the fraction collector for our FPLC design. The design focuses on minimal commerical parts, and only requires a few 625z bearings, GT2/2GT belts, 2 NEMA 17 motors and microswitches - but requires some extensive 3D printing. The housing can accomodate a Arduino Mega with a prototyping shield (for the stepper drivers).</p> <p>There is currently no Z-axis implemented (as it was not required for the intended purpose.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><h3>Category: Biology How I Designed This</h3> <p><strong>Inspiration</strong></p> <p>Basic geometry / belt design goes back to Thing 1241491 by Idegraf, but more focus on a free-standing design with enclosed control element.</p> <p>The belts can be simply closed using my belt clamp design. <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2503261">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2503261</a></p>
