SCARA Arm Milling Attachment

Evezor is a SCARA class robot that successfully milled the open source initiative's logo today. A video of the making process can be seen here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSWo7v0rduo. Our tool post was created from just a hunk of 2X4, which we secured with a hose clamp to hold the router in place. A 3/8" - 2 flute endmill was used for this project. The toolpath was designed using Kiri:Moto software. In all our projects, I have strived to use open source software, despite some difficulties. Unfortunately, my experience with the software was poor and it made some unusual decisions with its toolpaths. I will be seeking alternative software in the future.
