Scanner Booth
thingiverse
The scanner booth comprises laser-cut acrylic sheets and 3D printed ABS blocks. To create it, cut flat parts from materials such as 3mm acrylic using a laser cutter, or opt for alternatives like plywood, MDF, or stiff card if needed. The sides are straightforward rectangles to match the A3-sized calibration sheets. Shaped base pieces should be easy to cut by hand. Print blocks on a 3D printer with 3.2mm slot width to fit 3mm acrylic. Attach calibration sheets to side sheets using tape or Blu-Tak. Glue lower four blocks to the base, followed by slotting in sides and clipping the top block in place. The structure's rigidity ensures square scanning. A downloadable STEP file of the assembly is available.
