Scanned Finial

Upon moving into our home, we discovered that a finial (the top of a lamp post) was absent from one side of the garage. To remedy this situation, I removed the intact finial from another lamp, cleaned it with dry shampoo and utilized a Makerbot Replicator to create an identical copy. After drilling a hole in the replica, my wife painted it gold to match the original for a seamless appearance. Be sure to view the accompanying images.
