The Boeing/Insitu ScanEagle is a reconnaissance UAV utilized by conventional and special operations forces. Although featuring a camera, proprietary components are absent to respect manufacturer rights. The 6th revision offers animatable elevons, rudder, propeller, and gimbal-controlled yaw, bank, and pitch camera payloads. Primarily composed of quads, the model is subdivision-ready. Its design exhibits realistic exterior details as per personal experience (over 1500 hours logged in Iraq). The hierarchy is user-friendly with accurate pivot points for control surfaces, propeller, and camera animation. Features include a detailed engine, side fuse static ports, fuel plug, transponder antenna, ACHT ducting and shroud, and slight wingtip washout replication. Native to Cinema 4D R15, the model includes materials and textures. DAE and 3DS files contain low and high-res models (low res subdivision=0, high res subdivision=2), while Max models have NURMS toggled for each component. C4D versions are set for customized subdivision levels. A rigged C4D model was updated on 13Aug2018, allowing full control over flight controls, camera, and propeller.
